About Us
Bay View High School is a prestigious co-educational institution which offers a British System of Education leading to the Cambridge (CAIE) GCE O-Level Examinations. The Senior School programme is accommodated in a stunning heritage property. In addition to the existing facilities and spacious sports ground, we have recently completed the construction of a large, purpose-built new educational wing. This great addition houses new classrooms and multipurpose rooms, lecture theatre, computer lab and two spacious Cambridge approved Science laboratories.
We are a select school and we maintain high standards to provide a well-rounded curriculum. This incorporates a robust academic programme with wide ranging co curricular activities to ensure the intellectual, social and personal growth through of each of our students.
At Bay View High School we promote the joy of learning with the latest innovative teaching methods and a focus on active learning and developing critical thinking skills. Our shared aim is to help every student discover and fulfill his or her intellectual and personal potential to it fullest.
Cambridge Professional Development Certification
Bay View High School is a Cambridge certified Professional Development Qualification Centre and our teachers go through a rigorous training programme of 120 hours to earn a Cambridge Certification in Teaching and Learning.
Many of our Senior Campus teachers have now successfully completed the Cambridge PDQ Teaching and Learning certification and we are thrilled that five of our teachers were awarded distinctions by Cambridge this year. We are very proud of their achievement.
Our Approach
We maintain a ceiling on our class strength to ensure that all students enjoy personal attention in class. Our teachers use a combination of motivation, encouragement and confidence building to enable our students to achieve their personal best. All our teachers are available outside the classroom, on the school premises to extend any additional help or support the students might need.
Academics
We are proud to have an exceptional teaching faculty at all grade levels, who have the professional expertise as well as the genuine commitment to provide quality education. Our dedicated teachers are not only specialists in their subjects but also have a dynamic, passionate and empathetic approach to teaching and learning.
Our faculty are involved in continuous professional development at home and abroad, and keep themselves abreast with the latest developments in education in general and at the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in particular. Regular on-line professional courses with Cambridge examiners are an integral part of our faculty’s CPD.
Sports
Sports are an integral part of life at BVHS. In addition to the compulsory Physical Education programme, students are encouraged to participate in After School Sports Clubs. These include: Intra and Inter School Tournaments in Cricket, Football, Futsal, Basketball, Throw ball, Table Tennis and Rowing.

Community Service
BVHS has striven throughout its 25 year history to support and give back to local community initiatives, charity schools, and national charity organisations like MALC and TCF through our Everlasting Spirit Community Service Programme.
We also ensure that our students are involved in these community and charity projects in order to learn the importance of compassion and consideration for others. We are especially proud of our students’ recent charity initiative ‘Hamdard Haath’ started in 2016, which provides free iftar boxes to the underprivileged during Ramadan.
Principal’s Message
Welcome to Bay View High School Senior Campus. This is the campus where students from Bay View High School Junior Campuses come to join the Middle School in Class VI and go on to prepare for their Cambridge O Level examinations. At the Middle School our boys and girls navigate their way from childhood to enter into young adulthood, as mindful, responsible and empathetic individuals.
We provide them every opportunity, in the scaffolding of a safe and enabling environment, to grow and develop intellectually, socially and emotionally.
As they enter High School, our students are challenged and stretched in many ways to help them settle into their new roles as confident young adults, who are able to make informed choices and defining decisions.
Life on the Senior Campus is always busy, active and productive. Apart from the robust academic programme, students have ample and diverse opportunities for personal development through our comprehensive co-curricular programme. We have a dynamic sports presence in Karachi in which our futsal, cricket, throw ball and rowing teams have done and continue to do us proud. We have a strong track record of winning Inter-School Championships in a range of sports and a number of our students have achieved recognition at Provincial and National level.
Bay View High School is proud of its strong presence in Model United Nations nationwide and also in international MUN competitions. Boys and girls from Senior Campus are delegates at most prestigious Model United Nations all over Pakistan, competing against the best and older representatives from other top schools and colleges. They consistently win laurels as “Best delegates” and have received numerous ‘Honourable mentions’ awards.
We have an excellent reputation for academic achievement in the Cambridge examinations as our students are taught by teachers who are skilled, committed and specialists in their field. While we encourage learning for the sake of learning, our students’ results have consistently been excellent and they have also received numerous Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for Karachi, Pakistan and worldwide. On the other hand we are equally proud of those students who have struggled academically and who graduate with respectable grades through their perseverance and consistent support from their committed teachers.
Our goal is to provide each student a memorable and successful schooling experience, academically, socially and personally and to have them believe in themselves as we believe in them.
